@ PGI: Supervised MFT interns in their clinical practice in the Brief Therapy Program, focusing on practice influenced by the Solution-Oriented/PostModern Therapies (Solution-Focused, Narrative and Collaborative Language Systems). Helped interns become capable, competent and independent therapists. Supervision included helping therapists in training develop their own ways of providing helpful therapy, ways of connecting with their clients, ways to be self-aware and client-focused, ways to find and articulate theoretical models to assist them in their work and in the licensing process, ways to understand and use the DSM in their work and the licensing process, and ways to practice flexibility with models and diagnoses to remain focused on the helpfulness of therapy to their clients. @ VTC: Supervised MFT trainees and interns in their clinical practice in ways similar to those described above in a program without a specific theoretical approach. Helped trainees and interns develop their own practices influenced by the theories of their choices.
