Drop-In anytime and practice mindfulness and gratitude. Mindfulness and gratitude are key skills for happiness. They are skills that can be learned and practiced.
There will be a brief introductory talk, a gratitude practice and a guided meditation.
Mindfulness is paying friendly attention to present time experience with openness, curiosity and a willingness to be with what is.
Gratitude is the quality of being thankful and ready to show appreciation for and to return kindness.
Too often we're told we should feel gratitude, but we feel we don't have anything to be grateful for or we don't know how to be grateful. This class will help you learn how to be genuinely grateful. Will not pretend to be grateful or try to fool or kid ourselves into being grateful. We'll cultivate the conditions whereby genuine gratitude can arise. We'll cultivate the conditions whereby we can be more easily grateful and enjoy the benefits gratitude brings.
