Mindfulness is the ability to be aware of your thoughts in a calm, non-judgmental manner. Mindfulness training will teach you to overcome unnecessary, unhelpful thoughts that have been causing you to suffer from anxiety. An increasing number of research studies show that practicing meditation for as little as twenty minutes once a day promotes improved psychological well-being and mental performance.

Many of these guided meditations come from Buddhist websites. Mindfulness Meditation comes from Buddhism, but you do not need to be Buddhist to take up Mindfulness or Meditation.
